Today, we made an essential decision, and we are beyond thrilled to share it with you.
I started developing the Crypto OS app (initially named CryptoKnowledge) almost 12 months ago. My vision was to create an app that helps crypto traders make better decisions faster. In detail, I aimed to streamline time-intensive trading tasks while increasing opportunities and assisting traders in making confident decisions.
Over the last few months, I have chased this goal almost every day with my team, and I am proud of what I’ve achieved. Having started with a simple web service, Crypto OS has grown to become a sophisticated platform that is available on both web and mobile platforms. We recorded more than 7,000 app downloads and have hundreds of active users.
In addition, the set of features (and the quality) has grown massively. Today, I can say I’ve made some progress regarding my initial vision.
But I won’t stop here. So, here’s why I am telling you all this: I came to the conclusion that now is the right time to double down and introduce a new structure. Personally, I am more than ever committed to pushing Crypto OS to new boundaries. At the same time, I firmly believe this goal can be achieved much faster with a supportive community.
Introducing Crypto OS — The World’s First Community-Driven Crypto Trading App
Over the last few months, I have been in contact with many crypto enthusiasts and traders. Many provided valuable insights and feedback that shaped the Crypto OS app. That’s why I decided to make the community a significant pillar of Crypto OS’s future.
Here’s what this means in detail:
- Community members can contribute ideas and become integral to development.
- As such, community members can request new features, tokens, and strategies, essentially guiding the app’s direction.
- However, to have some structure, each requirement needs the community’s approval, which requires 2/3 of the community votes.
- Each community member has the same voting rights.
- Moreover, the community can prioritize accepted requirements and structure the development process.

At this point, the community is open to everyone who wants to help create the best crypto trading app in the world. There are no requirements for knowledge, experience, or time investment. Everybody can participate in the way they want.
The community may adjust this approach, especially if user growth demands it.
